Anodizing, hard anodizing, chromating and passivating aluminium - we have been focusing on these services since 1947. Our top quality is based on experience, top technology and care.
We offer the widest range of colors and give aluminum rich, homogeneous color surfaces. We are unbeatable at this.
Parts just a few millimeters in size: Only a few suppliers can cope with this at all and cannot guarantee reliable surface quality. The gentle and economical clamping of small parts requires years of practice and experience. On the other hand, our range extends up to parts with a length of 1,500 mm.
We can do even the seemingly impossible. Sometimes it has to be overnight. Your appointment request has priority. We are committed, flexible and reliable.
Continuous analyses guarantee consistency and reliable quality at the highest level.
An important aspect when it comes to a smooth workflow, speed and cost-effectiveness. We build our individual frames from titanium or aluminum ourselves.
Everyone is highly motivated and puts their heart and soul into their work. Professional expertise is a matter of course.
Fast, safe and scalable. We rely on machine support, especially for loading and unloading.
There are no compromises when it comes to environmental protection and resource conservation.
Our calculations are transparent and comprehensible. If you want quality, you get fair prices on top.
We offer our customers the widest range of colors and the deepest spectrum of shades and effects: From delicate pastels to brilliantly luminous tones. From a golden shimmer to a silver glow. We are happy to respond to individual wishes.
Hard anodizing (also known as hard coating) gives aluminium parts an extremely durable, protective surface. The new degree of hardness also ensures excellent corrosion resistance. In addition, the aluminum oxide of the hard anodized layer provides electrical insulation.
Chromating is an electroless, chemical surface treatment of aluminum with chromium-containing chemical solutions. This creates inorganic layers that serve as an excellent adhesive base for organic coatings and offer improved corrosion protection without additional painting. Chromating also improves the running-in and sliding properties during forming.

Another variant of surface finishing is passivation with SurTec 650.
We passivate or chromate with SurTec 650 chromitAL TCP.
Our customers come from a wide range of industries. What they all have in common are the high quality requirements and the omnipresent deadline pressure.
Important for many of our customers:
We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015

These were the years of reconstruction after the Second World War. The married couple Else and Egon Hohl started surface finishing of metals in 1947. Initially mainly for the neighboring jewelry industry. They soon focused on anodizing and chromating aluminium.
New markets were opened up and automotive brands such as Porsche and Volkswagen were supplied.
Several relocations took place and the technology was constantly developed further. Today, HOHL is a modern company with innovative technology, consistent customer orientation and firmly rooted values.
